A Freer elevator is an instrument designed for use in several surgical procedures. It works for the elevation and parting of the soft tissue, especially the periosteum. In addition, it features a double end, both blunt and sharp.

Freer elevator is involved in many surgeries. It is suitable for the elevation of mucoperichondrial flaps in septoplasty, performing laminectomy, septal cartilage separation through septoplasty, and the height of mucoperiosteal flap while doing endo-nasal DCR.
