NYLOPRO is a nylon monofilament non-absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of the long-chain aliphatic polymers Nylon type 6 or Nylon type 6/6. Monofilament Nylon suture may be either dyed black (logwood), dyed blue (FD&C Blue No. 2) or white (undyed). Nylon suture is coated with silicone.
