The Steinmann Pin Double Diamond Trocars 12" is designed for inserting Steinmann pins in animal bone fixation procedures. It causes minimal soft tissue disruption because of its smaller diameter than traditional trocars. It is useful for stabilizing fractures in long bones like the tibia or femur.
12-inch length of the trocar provides adequate reach for deeper bone structures. The double diamond tip helps create two separate punctures for pin insertion with minimal tissue trauma. It’s available in various diameters to match different pin sizes and bone thicknesses.
